Creating Stationery Using Outlook Express 5
Lesson #2: Stationery Wizard

Now learn how to use the Stationery Wizard to create new stationery. You have basically the same options as you learned in Lesson #1, but it is packaged in a convenient wizard which makes the entire procedure very straightforward.

Open Outlook Express and select "Select Stationery..." from the "New Message Using..." menu from the "Message" menu.

Click on the "Create New" button.

This starts up the Stationery Wizard.

Click the "Next" button to start creating your stationery.

Here is where you can design your stationery Select either a color or a background image. You can use any of the background images already stored in your stationery folder (c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery) or you can browse to an image anywhere on your system.

You can also choose to place the image anywhere on the page that you want, and you have a number of tiling options. Tiling causes the image to be repeated automatically on (a) the entire page, (b) just vertically (like in the example above) or (c) just horizontally.

Click the "Next" button when you are finished to get the next page of the wizard.

Select the font characteristics for your stationery. When you have what you need, press the "Next" button.

Now indicate the positions of the top and left margins. Press the "Next" button when you have what you want.

Finally, give your stationery a name and press the "Finish" button. You have now created a stationery file!
